I’ve visited Louvre Abu Dhabi five times already, and I know I’ll keep coming back again and again. As someone who is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Art, this museum is much more than a tourist attraction; it’s a place of inspiration. Every visit teaches me something new and reminds me why I fell in love with art in the first place. My favorite experience was the recent Picasso exhibition. It was beautifully curated and an absolute highlight of my visits. One of my biggest dreams is to curate an exhibition here one day. Until then, I’ll happily continue returning as a visitor, always leaving inspired, motivated, and in awe of this extraordinary museum. A true cultural gem in the UAE.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi was one of the most peaceful places I visited. I spent hours walking through the galleries, taking in stories from different cultures and centuries. The building itself is beautiful, especially the way the sunlight filters through the dome. It never felt overwhelming - just calm, thoughtful, and inspiring. I walked out feeling a little more connected to the world and grateful that places like this exist. The ticket was 70 AED ~ $19. I spent about 3 hours there. The crowd was thin as I visited the museum in a weekday.

Louvre Abu Dhabi may be the second Louvre in name, but for me it felt like number one for easy walking, calm spaces, and the way it mixes modern design with world-class art. The building itself is very unique, especially the dome and the light falling through it, and I honestly spent as much time looking at the architecture as I did at the exhibits. Everything was well laid out, not tiring to explore, and there was room to slow down without feeling crowded. The collection is beautiful, with old pieces, modern works, and cultural history presented in a way that feels clear and interesting even if you are not an art expert. Staff were helpful, signs were easy to follow, and the whole visit felt amzing from start to finish. A must-see in Abu Dhabi and easily a 5-star experience.

The museum itself is an architectural masterpiece, and the collection is beautifully curated, making for a fascinating and inspiring experience. Took a few years to complete. And you can tell it’s been worth it! The admission fee is well worth it for everything you can see, and I would recommend allowing at least 3–4 hours to fully appreciate both the galleries and the stunning outdoor spaces beneath the iconic dome. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and relaxing, and despite being a popular attraction, it never felt overly crowded during my visit. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to assist whenever needed, adding to the overall positive experience. I would highly recommend the Louvre Abu Dhabi for couples, solo travellers, families with older children (leave the toddler at home) and anyone with an interest in art, history, architecture, or culture. It's a world-class museum that is absolutely worth adding to any Abu Dhabi itinerary!

Arguably one of the best museums in Abu Dhabi. It has many collections from across the globe: you can find an Osiris statue from Ancient Egypt, an Ottoman Sipahi armour, and a painting by Claude Monet. If you love art and history, this place is a must visit. During our visit, the exhibitions were sequenced historically from the ancient times to the modern times. We spent about 2 hours in the museum.

If the Louvre Paris is “the museum of timeless classics,” then the Louvre Abu Dhabi is “a museum that looks like it fell out of a sci-fi movie, but tells the story of humanity with total seriousness.” • It’s a real Louvre—Abu Dhabi signed a 30-year concession agreement with the French government. • All the artworks are authentic originals, which is why there’s no Mona Lisa here (she’s still in Paris). • Paris has the iconic glass pyramid. Abu Dhabi has a massive dome—the kind that makes your neck hurt from looking up. Absolutely epic. • The dome is designed with multi-layered Arabic geometry, letting sunlight filter through in patterns called “Rain of Light.” • Exhibitions are not arranged by country, and the diversity is next level. Roman works sit next to Middle Eastern art; Buddhist pieces appear alongside Christian and Islamic works. • The core idea is basically: “We’re all human—our beliefs may differ, but our humanity is shared.” • You leave feeling a bit smarter, even if you can’t remember every artist’s name. Still, you’ll find yourself thinking, “Yeah… this is culture.” • There are original works by Leonardo da Vinci, Monet, and Van Gogh. Maybe not their most famous pieces, but still undeniably theirs. • There’s also a portrait of Kosa Pan (โกษาปาน)—beautiful, dignified, and displayed with great respect. • Long walk means LONG walk. This isn’t a “peek and leave” museum. This is the kind of place where you walk until you forget time exists. • For photography lovers, this place is pure heaven: shadows, light, reflections on water—everything. It honestly feels designed with Instagram tourism in mind. • The café? Great desserts, great coffee. • Inside the Louvre, there’s a special activity called Quantum Dome Project: A Collective VR Experience. You put on a VR headset and travel through multiple eras and civilizations via a newly imagined narrative. It takes about 20 minutes and costs 95 AED extra per person— but it’s insanely good, both visually and sonically. Totally worth it. (And yes, you can’t take photos because… it’s VR.)

Visited this Museum in a group tour. As everything in Dubai and Abu Dhabu, this building is a display of great taste and modern architecture. It uses the name Louvre but it does not intent to rival the original one. The exhibitions are mainly sculptures, but the way the displays are arranged it is very pleasant to the eye. We arrived at evening time and only had a little more than 2 hrs to see it, so my girlfriend and me aped our pace and were able to admire everything there, even at a fast pace

Reaching the museum is very convenient — it’s easily accessible, with plenty of parking spaces available. The security staff are present throughout the area and are always ready to guide and assist visitors. Louvre Abu Dhabi is truly a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates art, heritage, and unforgettable cultural experiences.

Impressive architecture at Saadiyat Island and being an icon there. Exhibits display has been very different than Louvre Paris, but it has been too long ago I went Louvre in Paris. The exhibits here is more of sculptures or some historic artifacts about currency used thousands of years ago. It wasn’t divided by region but a comparison of same or similar artifacts in different countries, seems more of Asia comparison. I didn’t pay attention or did any research of the theme about Louvre AD, which was going with clients. Still a must see there, interesting though.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi was sensational! I did the express tour for an overview and then the virtual reality add-on. I walked around the outside and had dinner at the rooftop restaurant. The Louvre in Abu Dhabi is more than a museum, it is is a destination!

It is located on Saadiyat island and opened in the year 2017. It is first universal museum located in Arab world. There are 55 buildings, with 23 galleries for permanent collections. Permanent galleries have 600 artworks and artifacts. It has works by Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso.

No waiting time and not overcrowded. Place is clean, neat and properly organized.

Ticket price - 70AED per person It’s completely worth the price .. all artefacts are in good condition. Each item is marked with detailed information. A history lover in me was absolutely happy to see different parts of, cultures , practices of world under one roof. You can get an expert to walk you through each artefact at reception provided with some additional charges . The museum itself is so beautifully made , absolutely spotless and user friendly . It’s also a stunning photograph point.

The famous dome is absolutely stunning, and walking underneath it is the highlight of the visit. The artworks inside are interesting, but nothing felt truly exceptional or unforgettable. That said, everything is very well presented. The museum is beautiful, perfectly air-conditioned, and clearly designed to make the visit comfortable and accessible to the public. The visitor areas are great for photos, especially around the dome and the exterior walkways. There are several restaurants and cafés inside the museum, and more options just outside once you exit. Getting a taxi is easy, so logistics are simple. Overall, it’s worth visiting mainly for the architecture and the experience rather than the collection itself.

hands down my new favorite! one of the best of all i have been to (and i have been to a lot around the world) stunning architecture with carefully curated and well organized collections that take you through time of civilization. we had a lovely lunch on the terrace of the cafe! i could spend all day here.
