​If you are looking for the best family-friendly activity in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Park Zoo is a must-visit! We spent over 3 hours here and honestly could have stayed longer—there is so much to see and do for both kids and adults. ​The Highlights: ​The Elephant Show: This was truly the star of the day! Seeing the elephants up close was such a special experience. They are majestic creatures, and the show was both educational and entertaining for the kids. ​Kid-Friendly Interaction: My kids absolutely loved how interactive everything is. From feeding the giraffes to the petting zoo area, it’s a very "hands-on" experience compared to other zoos. ​The Atmosphere: The zoo is well-organized and easy to navigate with children. We felt the 3+ hours we spent there flew by because the kids were so engaged the whole time. ​Pro Tip: Make sure to check the timing for the elephant encounter and animal presentations as soon as you arrive so you don't miss out on the special shows! ​Final Verdict: One of the best zoos we’ve ever visited. Great for animal lovers and a perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon in Abu Dhabi. We will definitely be back!

Our visit to Emirates Park Zoo was truly wonderful and exceeded all expectations. It’s an excellent place for families, especially with young kids, to enjoy a fun and educational experience. The animals were well cared for, and the entire environment felt clean, organized, and hygienic — something that really stood out to me. We spent hours exploring different sections and never felt rushed. The staff were friendly, helpful, and guided guests very well. The zoo offers a perfect balance of entertainment and learning, making it an ideal outing for both family and friends. Overall, we had an amazing time and created beautiful memories. What a lovely hotel! The swimming pool was just outside our room, and the room itself was clean and spacious. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. We also had an amazing experience at the zoo—getting up close to the giraffes and elephants was unforgettable, and the sea lion show was the highlight. Kudos to all the trainers! This place is highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back again.

I experienced the “Breakfast with Giraffes” program at Emirates Park Zoo and Resort. To be honest, it was an exceptionally satisfying experience that was well worth the price. This program is limited to only two rooms per day, with a maximum of four people per room. The price is 2,000 AED per room, which is not cheap, but the quality of the experience is very high. It is extremely popular, so I strongly recommend making a reservation at least one to two months in advance. The breakfast time runs from 8:00 to 10:00. Some people stay at the hotel attached to the zoo the night before, but we did not. We arrived in the morning around 7:30 and waited to be guided. There was no need to arrive especially early; arriving on time was sufficient. During breakfast, giraffes come right up to you, and you can feed them directly from your hand while enjoying your meal. They are much closer than expected, surprisingly impressive in size, yet calm and adorable. The sense of being in a non-everyday, almost unreal situation is incredible. Honestly, rather than going to an expensive hotel in Africa just to have breakfast with giraffes, I feel this experience offers even better value. After breakfast, we were also able to feed the hippos, which was another highlight. The close interaction with the animals is a big part of the charm here. As a once-in-a-lifetime memory, this is an experience I can confidently recommend.

One of the highlights was the unique experience of dining within the zoo while being close to the animals. We explored the zoo multiple times during our stay and never felt rushed. Our booking included breakfast, which offered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Although the menu was the same each day, the food quality was good. Even after checkout, the staff kindly allowed us to continue using the resort facilities since we had a late flight. We relaxed at the resort and enjoyed a swim before leaving. Overall, it was a value-for-money stay and a memorable experience, especially for families and animal lovers.

We stayed at Emirates Park Zoo in Abu Dhabi for a family staycation. Visiting the zoo at night was a special experience, and my child was very happy and excited. We stayed near the giraffe area, and opening the door to see giraffes right in front of us was amazing. My child was very curious and could not stop watching them. We went to Emirates Park Zoo and Resort where we had breakfast with the giraffes. Breakfast with Giraffes is so popular that reservations are made two or three months in advance. If you know the date you want to go, make your reservation early. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, so we arrived at 7:30am. When you first enter the room, you may be surprised by the size of the giraffe. At breakfast, there were four giraffes in total, one of which was a baby giraffe. They were all so cute and I was able to feed them vegetables with my hands. I was able to spend a dreamlike time. Afterwards, we were able to feed the hippos and camels. The otter I met on my way home was very smart and cute. You have to go early in the morning, but it will be a wonderful memory. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Emirates Park Zoo & Resort! This is so much more than just a typical zoo. It offers incredibly close and interactive animal encounters that made the visit truly memorable, The highlight of our trip was definitely the feeding sessions. Being able to hand-feed the elephants and giraffes was a unique and enjoyable experience that we highly recommend. The animals were well cared for, and the enclosures were clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to answer questions and help with feeding activities. We also enjoyed the exciting Bird of Prey show, which was both entertaining and educational. If you are looking for a highly engaging and educational day out in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Park Zoo is a must-visit. It is the perfect place to make lasting family memories.

We went on Sunday during the UAE National Holiday weekend. The zoo is amazing. There are many different species under one roof. There is option to feed animals at nominal cost. It is a very good attraction for young kids. The highlight for me were the Royal Bengal White Tiger and the Black Panther. There are 3 categories for tickets. We went with the lowest one costing AED 65 per head. The top variant costs AED 125 but there is a 20% fazaa discount applicable bringing the price to AED 100. Kindly note that Fazaa discount is applicable only on the top variant and not all ticket variants. Since it is all in open air, it is better to go during winters. Start early to have ample time to cover and enjoy the entire zoo. Outside food is not allowed (except small kids) and the food options inside are on the expensive side. You may have a heavy meal before entering in to avoid hunger pangs inside. There is ample parking nearby at a short walking distance. Overall, I highly recommend this place for all age groups to have a fun filled day.
